Safety and Training Specialist

Duties include but are not limited to: Promote and enforce workplace safety across Jasper facilities Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards Lead and support safety training initiatives for employees and management Collaborate with team members and leadership to maintain a safe work environment Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective actions Support proper use and compliance of personal protective equipment (PPE) Oversee Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification and training records Maintain an active, hands‑on presence on the warehouse floor Communicate effectively with employees at all levels Drive continuous improvement in safety practices and culture About Us: Meyer is a growing, family‑owned, and operated company where you are more than an employee number, you’re family!
