Probate Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Probate Litigation Attorney with 4-8 years of experience to join its Trusts & Estates practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. This position offers the opportunity to manage complex probate litigation matters within a collaborative, mid-size firm environment. Duties Manage probate and trust litigation matters from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and settlement documentation. Conduct and defend depositions. Appear in court for hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials. Advise fiduciaries and beneficiaries on risk assessment, strategy, and dispute resolution. Collaborate with estate planning attorneys on intersecting issues. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court. Requirements 4-8 years of experience in probate, trust, or estate litigation. Strong knowledge of probate law, trust law, and civil procedure. Demonstrated experience with discovery, motion practice, and court appearances. Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple matters independently while meeting deadlines. Strong client-service orientation and professional judgment. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active Arizona Bar admission (or ability to obtain promptly). Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
