Responsibilities include:Schedule patient appointments with multiple specialty departmentsObtain and organize medical records and diagnostic imaging prior to appointmentsConfirm appointments and provide clients with relevant care and drop-off instructionsPrepare treatment plan estimates and related paperwork for patient arrivalsCommunicate clearly and professionally with clients, veterinary teams, and hospital departmentsMaintain accurate patient and client informationMultitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced veterinary hospitalProvide a positive, compassionate client experience while supporting efficient hospital workflowsQualificationsPrevious experience in veterinary medicine, healthcare, customer service, or a similar client-facing environment preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working collaboratively with clients and veterinary team membersPositive, professional, and compassionate approach to client serviceAbility to learn veterinary terminology, hospital processes, and specialty servicesStrong computer and administrative skillsFluent English speaking and reading skills required.About the HospitalCharleston Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC) is located in beautiful Charleston, SC and is one of the few VECCS Level 1 certified facilities in South Carolina. Our emergency center is staffed 24/7/365 to support the community, and our hospital provides a wide range of specialty services including critical care, cardiology, internal medicine, medical oncology, anesthesia, neurology and neurosurgery, rehabilitation, and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
