Registered Nurse - Pulmonary Progressive Care Unit

Role Overview: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Pulmonary Progressive Care . The nurse provides high-acuity respiratory care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, managing patients with conditions such as pneumonia, COPD, pulmonary embolism, influenza, respiratory failure, and COVID-19. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues. Perform respiratory assessments and intervene early for deteriorating oxygen and ventilatory needs. Manage advanced respiratory skills, including tracheostomy and ventilator care, CPAP/BIPAP, chest tubes, and administering blood products and IV drips. Skills And Experience Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least one year of acute nursing experience. Current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Ability to perform advanced respiratory assessments and interventions, including ventilator management and chest tube care.
