Family Advocate

RPC's Early Childhood Education Center is seeking a Family Advocate to provide family support and child health services to families with children from birth to 5 years old. The position offers a people‑focused environment dedicated to helping families achieve self‑sufficiency. Responsibilities Fulfill DCFS requirements for personnel, including a physical exam, immunizations and a criminal record check. Engage families in services for themselves and their child, maintain records of services provided, and support family‑identified goals. Maintain basic computer competency. Hold a valid driver’s license. Travel to home visits, trainings and meetings. Lift children up to 60 pounds in an emergency. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Prior experience working with children in an early childhood program is preferred. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or Human Development required, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2 years of Case Management experience. Passion for children and families and the ability to support their self‑sufficiency. Creative with a positive classroom environment mindset, fostering engaging and effective learning for children.
