Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients within the Tele MS float pool, including monitoring, assessment, and intervention.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and manage IV therapies per physician orders and hospital policy.
- Document nursing care accurately in the electronic health record and communicate clearly with the care team.
- Monitor patient status, interpret changes in vital signs, and escalate concerns to the rapid response or medical team as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and ancillary staff to develop and adjust plan of care; participate in rounds and care conferences.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and patient-centered environment; adhere to infection prevention and safety standards; respond to patient calls and emergencies as needed.
- Float pool duties may require adapting to multiple units while maintaining scope of practice and quality of care.

Requirements
- Active RN license (unrestricted) to practice in the United States
- Ability to work nights; 12-hour shifts (3×12) as part of a rotation
- Relevant RN experience in medical-surgical and/or telemetry settings; float pool experience preferred
- Proficient in patient assessment, documentation, and basic clinical skills; strong communication and teamwork
- Ability to adapt to a float pool environment and comply with hospital policies and safety standards
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment and participate in standard pre-employment screenings
