• Utilize specialized clinical knowledge and advanced counseling skills to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and perform diagnostic interviews for behavioral health and substance use disorder (SUD) clients.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family-oriented therapy sessions to address client needs and promote recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered, client progress, and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, their families, case managers, and referral sources to ensure comprehensive care.
• Work with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique circumstances and goals.
• Participate in regular care conferences and case reviews to enhance treatment effectiveness and client engagement.
• Attend Supervision as required.
• Ensure compliance with agency, federal, and state confidentiality standards and HIPAA regulations. Supervision Given:
This position does not supervise any staff. Supervision Received:
The therapist will report to the Operations Manager Qualifications :
• Must be licensed to practice in the state of Ohio.
• NPI number and Ohio Medicaid ID are preferred and required to start work. Education :
• A master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Bachelors may be accepted with additional licensure and experience Certification :
• Current licensure or provisional licensure in the state services are rendered. Experience :
• Prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly in behavioral health and SUD counseling, is preferred. Physical Effort:
• Primarily requires sitting while conducting therapy sessions, with occasional movement within the office or community setting. Background:
• All applicants must submit to and pass a background check prior to hire. Schedule:
• Flexible scheduling options to accommodate both client needs and staff availability. Benefits:
