About the Position

Job Title: Urgent Care Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Urgent Care experience required - Behavioral health experience strongly preferred - EPIC charting system experience required Description: The position involves working in an urgent care setting. This role requires flexibility with scheduling. The candidate must be aware of a strict policy regarding tardiness and unexcused absences. The urgent care setting is for patients who may be walk-ins or transported due to their status. This environment is fast-paced, with walk-in volumes potentially reaching up to 25 per day. Nurses in this role will float between urgent care and crisis units as needed. The crisis unit serves as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization for individuals with mental health or substance use disorders. All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam, with two attempts allowed. Candidates should have no barriers that would prevent timely compliance completion. This opportunity is open to first-time travelers. Weekend shifts and holiday coverage may be required. A current driver's license is required for verification.
