Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Practice Coordinator to oversee the operations of our medical practices. The Practice Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Medical Director with day-to-day activities, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing leadership to the staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Duties:

- Oversee the daily operations of the medical practice, including scheduling, billing, and patient flow

- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Monitor and manage the practice budget, including financial reporting and analysis

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes

- Implement utilization management strategies to maximize efficiency and resource allocation

- Ensure adherence to medical standards, protocols, and guidelines

- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

- Handle patient complaints or concerns in a professional manner

- Coordinate with external vendors for equipment maintenance and supplies

Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role within a hospital or medical office setting is required

- Knowledge of critical care practices and medical terminology is highly desirable

- Strong background in healthcare management, including budgeting and financial analysis

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements

- Experience in utilization management is a plus

- Proficient in human resources management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations

- Physician practice management experience is a bonus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
