Department Manager

Franchise Relationship This posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the employer; McDonald’s USA has no control over employment matters. Position Summary Management positions are available at our restaurant, covering shift leadership, department oversight, training, service excellence, food quality, and people management. Responsibilities Lead shifts weekly, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly service. Manage assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management. Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to team and upper management. Ensure crew and managers deliver great customer experience, sales promotions, and proper service procedures. Maintain quality and safety of food, control food costs, and train kitchen staff on production procedures. Hire qualified crew, train them, schedule to meet sales and profit goals, and recognize & motivate employees. Qualifications Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within restaurant, retail, or hospitality. Positive team player with flexible schedule. Passion for working in a fast‑paced environment. Must be 18 years or older. Compensation & Benefits Starting wage up to $15/hr.
