CNC Milling Machinist

Position Summary The CNC Machinist will independently and safely set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling equipment. Essential Functions Read and understand process travelers, setup journals, tooling sheets, and operation sheets to produce complex finished products. Make tooling adjustments and program offsets as necessary. Accurately inspect work utilizing various instruments, including OD & ID indicating gauges, indicators, micrometers, height stands, and verniers. Perform daily TPM responsibilities. Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in the work area, and comply with all company and safety rules and regulations. Wear necessary personal protective equipment as required. Actively participate in cross‑training, cost‑saving, and team activities to improve processes. Maintain appropriate tact and diplomacy in dealings with co‑workers, team members, and supervisors. Competencies Technical capacity Problem‑solving / analysis Initiative Results‑driven Experience and Education Minimum of 3 years of aerospace CNC machining experience is required. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Degree/certificate from a vocation school or college program is a plus, but extensive experience may substitute for education. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
