Men's Clothing Sales AssociateThe Men's Clothing Sales Associate delivers a best-in-class customer experience by driving sales, providing expert product knowledge, and maintaining a visually compelling sales floor. This role focuses on building client relationships, executing merchandise recovery, and accurately communicating merchandise-on-hand opportunities to support store performance and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience & SalesDrive sales performance through personalized service and proactive engagement.Utilize suggestive selling techniques to increase units per transaction and strengthen customer loyalty.Offer knowledgeable style guidance, fit recommendations, and product solutions based on customer needs.Maintain a positive, professional, and customer-focused presence at all times.ClientelingBuild and maintain a personal client book through relationship-building, follow-up communication, and outreach.Leverage client data, preferences, and history to increase repeat visits and long-term loyalty.Deliver a personalized shopping experience that aligns with each client's lifestyle and wardrobe needs.Merchandising & PresentationExecute daily merchandise recovery to ensure the sales floor is neat, organized, and visually appealing.Support floor set execution, replenishment, folding standards, and visual direction as assigned.Ensure merchandise is properly sized, signed, tagged, and displayed according to company standards.Inventory & OperationsVerify merchandise-on-hand (MOH) accuracy by checking stockroom and sales floor quantities.Identify, document, and communicate out-of-stock issues, replenishment needs, and inventory discrepancies.Assist with shipment processing, product organization, and inventory control procedures.Adhere to all operational policies and asset protection guidelines.Core Competencies & AccomplishmentsSales Focus - Drives sales performance through confident engagement, strong product knowledge, and effective suggestive selling; identifies opportunities to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.Customer Service Excellence - Provides exceptional service through active listening, personalized recommendations, and positive interactions; ensures every customer feels supported and valued; takes responsibility for creating a seamless experience.Clienteling & Relationship Building - Builds lasting customer relationships through outreach, follow-up, and tailored service; maintains accurate client records to support repeat business and higher sales potential.Results Orientation - Makes informed decisions that support sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency; adapts quickly to changing business needs while maintaining high performance standards.Ownership & Accountability - Takes responsibility for personal actions, sales results, and customer interactions; follows through on commitments; supports the team with a cooperative and solution-oriented mindset.Merchandising Excellence - Maintains the store's visual appeal through consistent recovery, accurate sizing, and adherence to visual standards; helps create an inviting shopping environment.Inventory Awareness - Ensures accurate merchandise-on-hand levels, identifies stock issues, and communicates gaps promptly; supports inventory integrity and product availability for customers.Urgency & Efficiency - Works with energy and focus, prioritizing tasks to support both sales and operational needs; takes initiative to resolve issues and elevate the customer experience quickly.Qualifications1+ year of retail, apparel, or sales experience preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to provide styling suggestions with confidence and professionalism.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift moderate-weight items.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.If eligible, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, term life insurance, paid vacation/holidays*, and 401(k) with Company match. For paid holidays, associates who are eligible for paid vacation (MTO) are also eligible for eight paid holidays during the calendar year.
