Job Description
An Unarmed Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of premises by monitoring activities, enforcing safety protocols, and providing excellent customer service. As a vital member of a security team, this role requires vigilance, effective communication, and prompt response to any incidents or suspicious activities to ensure a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or hazards
- Monitor surveillance equipment to oversee property and personnel safety
- Report incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities in a timely manner
- Interact professionally with customers and provide assistance as needed
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to maintain a secure environment
- Monitor alarms and respond promptly to alerts
- Oversee crowd control and manage access points during events
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in security services
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Experience with regular patrolling
- High attention to detail
- Effective communication abilities
- Customer service experience
