Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technologist)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join a growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care. This position requires adherence to radiation safety protocols, accurate imaging techniques, and effective collaboration with healthcare providers.

Location: Onsite (Nebraska)

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $34.00 - $39.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations accurately and efficiently.
• Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety throughout imaging procedures.
• Follow all radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
• Operate, maintain, and handle radiology equipment safely to prevent damage or injury.
• Verify patient identity and explain imaging procedures before examinations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
• Communicate findings and imaging information promptly to physicians and healthcare providers.
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and facility policies and procedures.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe imaging department.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• ARRT certification (or eligibility)
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation safety.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Active Nebraska Medical Radiographer License. (preferred)
• Previous experience in diagnostic radiology.(preferred)
