Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Travel OR Scrub Tech to provide exceptional perioperative support in a busy surgical unit. The role involves assisting with a variety of procedures, ensuring sterile techniques, and maintaining patient safety throughout surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and ensuring all equipment is functional.
• Assist surgeons and team members during various procedures, including orthopedics, robotics, GYN, Uro, vascular, and neuro surgeries.
• Maintain strict sterile technique and manage surgical instruments and supplies efficiently.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Support post-operative cleanup and documentation as needed.
• Participate in on-call and extra shifts as required, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Valid CRT OR certification with minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience with orthopedics, total joints, robotics, and general surgeries.
• Ability to operate advanced surgical equipment such as DaVinci Robot and neurospine microscopes.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication, and adaptability.
• Must have ACLS certification.
• Flexibility to float within the surgical department as needed.
