Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer position in Bangor, Maine. This role involves performing vascular ultrasound procedures primarily at an outpatient imaging center with potential rotation to the main campus. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience, and candidates must have BLS and ARDMS credentials, either in Abdominal or Obstetric & Gynecologic (OB/GYN) specialties, with both preferred.

Job Details:

• Location: Bangor, Maine
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) credentials in either Abdominal (AB) or Obstetric & Gynecologic (OB/GYN); minimum of 2 years of experience; valid licensure.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in vascular sonography.
• Float: May float between the main campus of the organization and outpatient imaging center, as discussed during the manager interview.
• Additional Information:
  • Support on the unit as needed.
  • EMR system used is Cerner.
  • Scrub color is any solid color as long as professional, or provided by the facility if needed.
  • Parking is free.
  • RTO (Reasonable Time Off) requires manager approval.
  • Call rotation is required, discussed during the interview.
