Bio-Techne, and all of its brands, provides tools for researchers to further treat and prevent disease worldwide.Pay Range:$78,100.00 - $128,500.00Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly capable Finance & Accounting Business Analyst (BA) to support our global ERP + MES transformation strategy, with a strong focus on capital (capex) initiatives and multi-ERP integration.This role will be a key member of the ERP Transformation Team, working across a complex landscape that includes Microsoft Dynamics 365, AX 2012, and multiple legacy ERP systems obtained through acquisitions. The BA will partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT to define, standardize, and enable financial processes across systems while supporting the transition toward a future-state D365 platform.The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in financial processes, ERP implementations, and cross-system integration, and thrives in an environment where standardization, scalability, and transformation are core priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Process Analysis (Finance & Accounting)Elicit, document, and validate business requirements across core finance processes, including:Record to Report (R2R)Procure to Pay (P2P)Fixed Assets & capitalizationProject accounting (capex tracking)Facilitate workshops across multiple business units and ERP platforms to define current-state and future-state processesDevelop structured deliverables:Process maps (including cross-system flows)Business requirements documents (BRDs)User stories and acceptance criteriaCapex & Financial Transformation (Primary Focus)Support ERP enablement of capital investment initiatives across the 5-year transformation roadmapDefine and document requirements for:Capital project planning, tracking, and budgetingAsset capitalization and lifecycle managementCost allocation and financial controls across systemsPartner with Finance leadership to ensure compliance with accounting policies, audit standards, and reporting requirementsEnable consistent ROI tracking and financial visibility for major investmentsMulti-ERP & Integration SupportWork across D365, AX 2012, and legacy ERP systems to define:System roles and responsibilities (system of record)Cross-system financial process flowsDocument and support integration requirements for:Financial data synchronization (GL, AP/AR, assets)Intercompany transactionsInventory and cost accounting flowsCollaborate with Solution and Technical Architects to ensure clear, scalable integration designERP Implementation & Transition SupportSupport Solution Architects in fit/gap analysis across multiple ERP platformsTranslate business requirements into functional designs aligned to both current-state (AX/legacy) and future-state (D365)Assist in data migration and harmonization, including:Chart of accounts alignmentFinancial master data standardizationHistorical data considerationsSupport phased transitions and coexistence strategies between systemsTesting & DeploymentLead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across systems:Develop end-to-end test scenarios spanning multiple ERPsValidate financial integrity and reconciliation across integrationsSupport issue triage, defect resolution, and go-live readinessAssist with cutover planning, including financial data validation and reconciliationChange Management & StandardizationDrive adoption of standardized financial processes across acquired entitiesSupport training and change management for Finance and Accounting teamsAct as a liaison between Finance stakeholders and IT throughout transformation and stabilizationRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Finance, Accounting, or ERP environmentsStrong understanding of core financial processes:Record to Report, financial close, and reportingProcure to Pay and expense managementFixed assets and capitalizationExperience working with multiple ERP systems (e.g., D365, AX 2012, SAP, Oracle, or similar)Experience supporting ERP transformations, integrations, or system transitionsExperience with capex projects or project accountingProven ability to document cross-system business processes and requirementsPreferred QualificationsExperience with both Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and D365 Finance & OperationsExperience in ERP consolidation or post-acquisition integration environmentsFamiliarity with:Financial data models and system integration patternsInventory and cost accounting in manufacturing environmentsExperience with tools such as:Azure DevOps (backlog and user story management)Power BI (financial reporting and analytics)Experience in multi-entity, global organizationsKey CompetenciesStrong financial and accounting acumen across complex environmentsAbility to think end-to-end across systems, not just within one ERPStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesHigh attention to detail, especially around financial data integrity and reconciliationComfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-year transformation programSuccess MeasuresClear, high-quality requirements across multi-ERP environmentsAccurate and reconciled financial data across systems and integrationsSuccessful delivery of capex-related ERP capabilitiesSmooth financial close during and after system transitions
