The OR Tech is a non-licensed skilled and experienced person who is responsible under the direct supervision of a registered nurse for selected tasks in the administration of patient care within the C/S and /or operating room suite. Assists with surgical procedures in scrub duties. Assists in the orientation, training, and education of new personnel. Assists in maintaining safe and aseptic environment for all patients. Performs all related duties as assigned and directed. Facilitates the provision of individualized patient care. Reports to Registered Nurse on each case and the Clinical Manager and the Director of Surgical Services.

• Setting up and maintaining the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures 
• Assisting with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety 
• Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs 
• Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns 
• Upholding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high-performing, collaborative team environment 

What qualifications you will need:

• High School graduate or equivalent required 
• Completion of OR Tech course from an accredited school required 
• Able to perform 60% of procedures required 
• Current BLS certification required 
• OR Tech Certification preferred
