Description
American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 14-week day shift assignment requiring MD or compact RN license and 2 years of ICU experience.
Details
- ICU setting with 10 beds and a 1:2 patient ratio
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Common diagnoses include DKA, COPD, acute hypoxic/hypercapnic respiratory failure, cholecystitis, pneumonia, sepsis, cardiac arrest, hypertensive emergency, ischemic stroke, ETOH withdrawal, acute renal failure, pancreatitis, bowel obstruction, atrial fibrillation with RVR, GI bleed, and diverticulitis
- Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within specialty, other units, and sister facilities within scope
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (Maryland state or compact) required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
