Physical Therapist (Chesapeake Specialty Care) Job Category : Clinical Technicians Requisition Number : PHYSI009834 Posted : August 20, 2026 Full-Time On-site Salary Range : $83,400 USD to $125,000 USD Locations Showing 1 location Annapolis, MD 21401, USA Description The Physical Therapist will carry out an individualized program of physical therapy including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to maximize a patient's progress toward achieving functional goals. The Physical Therapist will also maintain a positive working relationship with other health professionals and ancillary staff. Position Responsibilities Evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations, as well as their medical history and overall health Develop treatment plans that outline the specific goals and interventions for each patient Use a variety of techniques to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent disability Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans Educate patients and families about their condition and home management Document evaluations, treatment goals, plans, prescriptions, and signatures Minimum Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited physical therapy program required. Current Maryland Physical Therapist license in good standing required. Maintain current CPR/BLS certification. Minimum one (1) year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred. Knowledge of orthopedic, vestibular, and rehabilitative treatment techniques preferred. Ability to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and document care accurately. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff. Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems. Commitment to continuing education and professional development. Total Rewards The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of SCN'S salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.
