We are looking for a fun, dynamic, experienced Kindergarten teacher for a small and sweet Kindergarten Class. Hours for this position are full-time, M-F, 6:30-3:30pm. Must have at least a Bachelor's degree in an educational related field to be considered. GA Teaching Certificate is a PLUS. Kindergarten hours are from 8:00-3:00pm. Your planning time is at the end of each day and you have an hour for lunch as well. Between the hours of 6:30am-8:00am your classroom will serve as an organized holding room for ages 4 and up as teachers arrive to pick up their classes and buses arrive to pick up elementary students for school. As a Kindergarten Teacher at Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway, you'll help prepare students for elementary school through small group academic lessons, scientific investigation, creative expression, physical well-being, and social and emotional development.

• Teach children through the design thinking process with challenges that help them learn problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, executive function skills and good character.
• Help children learn critical literacy and math skills as well as engage in projects focused on science, art, social studies and character development.
• Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning® curriculum.
• Discover what works best for each child (songs, stories, games, art, etc.) to motivate and stimulate their abilities.

Compensation: $12.00 - $22.00 per hour
