Maintenance Technician

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the NY Maintenance Department supporting the manufacturing plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Middletown, NY

Pay Range: $30+

Shift: Multiple schedules available

8-hour and 12-hour shifts

Weekday and weekend schedules

Day, evening, and overnight shifts

What's the Job?

• Ensure that all production machines are operational and working according to OEM standards and safety requirements.
• Implement, maintain, and support company policies, safety programs, and good housekeeping practices.
• Coordinate maintenance work to minimize machine downtime and support production needs.
• Report safety, quality, and operational issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Assist in solving production problems that cannot be resolved at the supervisory level.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED with basic reading, writing, and math skills at a 10th-grade level.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Knowledge of equipment design, capabilities, and quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a loud, sometimes hazardous environment.
