Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Los Angeles. This position involves providing advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The role includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating multidisciplinary patient care, and ensuring compliance with established standards and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, professional discretion, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN); California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an acute care facility, EPIC electronic medical record system experience
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting relevant patient data, analyzing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating patient progress, and participating in discharge planning. Delegation and coordination of healthcare team duties are essential. The organization emphasizes compliance with vaccination requirements and participates in E-Verify for employment eligibility verification.
