Veterinary Technician

Salary $17.00-$19.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. Schedule Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, with a day off each week. Saturday shifts are 7:30 AM–12:00 PM and required. If scheduled for a Saturday, you will also receive an additional day during the week in addition to your regular day off. Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and technicians during appointments, diagnostics, and surgical procedures. Provide safe handling and restraint of patients. Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare samples as directed. Clean and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment. Accurately update patient records and support client communication. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast‑paced environment. Requirements Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting strongly preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Compassionate and attentive to patient needs. Dependable, organized, and detail‑oriented. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
