GWS is responsible for site improvements to support business needs, promoting a secure work environment, regulation compliance, safety protocol implementation, emergency preparedness and risk mitigation.What You'll DoIn this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.KLA is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Engineer (PCE) with expertise in cost estimating, scheduling and cost control. The PCE will collaborate closely with the Corporate Facilities team, Contractors/Consultants, A/E firms, Regulatory Bodies, and various internal teams including Legal, Real Estate, Finance, Purchasing, and Insurance. The PCE will assist the Project Controls Manager (PCM) ownership of tracking cost, schedule, and contracts for all capital projects and will coordinate progress reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis with the Project Managers.Key Responsibilities:Manage cost, schedule, and contracts for all capital projectsCoordinate with the Global Workplace Services (GWS) team for progress reporting (Monthly Business Reviews, Project progress meetings, site walks and more.)Issue project-level and portfolio-level reportsSupport the GWS team in gathering project-level information for the Long-Range PlanLiaise with corporate management to assist in obtaining project funding in FRAM (Facilities Resource Allocation Meeting)Report on cost, schedule, risk, contracts, and issues for all global capital projectsSupport Project Managers (PMs) during bid solicitation, tabulation, evaluation, and awardManagement of Consultants/ContractorsScope of Responsibility:Handle a broad range of projects varying in dollar value and complexity, from simple to complex manufacturing retrofit projectsDevelop project funding documents with the project teamAssist in budget, schedule, change management, cost and schedule risk analysis, cash flow analysis, and developing historical cost data for benchmarkingReview and analyze engineering and contractor cost estimates, bids, change orders, invoices, labor rates, and physical engineering/construction progressBudget, track, and control KLA costs as well as engineer/contractor costsOnsite presence required at least 3 days per week; travel approximately 20%Technical Ability Requirements:Strong technical knowledge in construction, cost, and schedule managementStrong analytical skills for estimate analysis, bid evaluations, budget monitoring, cash flow analysis, risk analysis (Quantitative and Qualitative Risk modeling), and benchmarking project costsProficient in all types of estimating from conceptual through definitive construction estimatesProficient in computer systems including MS Office, database programs, scheduling software, Excel spreadsheets.Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Software Skills:Expert in Oracle Primavera Cloud, Primavera (P6) planning, Procore, Estimation software such as Timberline or similar, Excel, Visio, and other Office Tools, PowerBi.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
