Responsibilities
- Operate complex magnetic resonance imaging scanners to produce highly detailed diagnostic images of internal tissues, organs, and bones
- Screen patients for MRI safety, medical history relevance, and contraindications; assess ferromagnetic risk
- Administer or ensure proper administration of contrast agents per protocol; monitor for adverse reactions
- Position patients, select appropriate coils and sequences, and adjust protocol parameters to optimize image quality
- Collaborate directly with radiologists to review images, ensure accuracy, and communicate findings as appropriate
- Adhere to MRI safety protocols, infection control, and patient privacy standards; accurately document exams and prepare studies for interpretation

Requirements
- ARRT MRI certification – REQUIRED
- 2 years MRI Tech experience – REQUIRED
- Ability to work weekend evenings (Saturdays and Sundays) per weekend schedule
- Ability to work in a surgical center environment and maintain high standards of patient care and imaging quality
