Account Manager (Travel & Tourism Clients)

Each of our 100+ offices has its own individual identity, and each also has its own unique rewards.Position summary:The Account Manager will drive new business development, identifying and securing enterprise-level Travel & Tourism clients — from initial prospecting through contract execution.In parallel, the role will serve as the main point of contact for an assigned portfolio of existing clients, focusing on expanding partnerships, introducing new AI-enabled and digital solutions, and increasing account value through consultative engagement.This position focuses on global, enterprise-level Travel & Tourism organizations including airlines, hotel groups, cruise operators, destination brands, and travel technology providers. The role requires a commercially-driven professional capable of engaging Digital, Marketing, eCommerce, and Operational stakeholders in conversations around global growth, workflow modernization, and scalable content and technology solutions.Position responsibilities:Business Development (60%):Identify and engage Travel & Tourism enterprise prospectsGenerate new business through proactive prospecting, industry networking, digital outreach, and participation in trade eventsAdopt a consultative sales approach from qualification through negotiation and contract executionDevelop an understanding of client business models and identify and pitch international growth strategiesPosition TransPerfect’s AI-enabled content, technology, and global solutions within broader digital transformation and operational initiativesCollaborate with Sales Leadership to structure and close complex, multi-service enterprise agreementsAccount Growth & Client Management (40%):Serve as a strategic partner for assigned clients, aligning solutions with client needsMonitor account performance and proactively identify and drive expansion opportunities through cross-sell and up-selling activitiesCollaborate with Production and Technology teams to support smooth implementations and contribute to client satisfactionWith the support of Management, define pricing strategies, participate in contractual discussions, and revenue forecasting with Accounting teamsEssential skills & experience required:Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalentSuperior written and spoken communication skills in EnglishExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to build, develop, and maintain long-term professional relationshipsResults-oriented and comfortable working in target-driven environmentsAnalytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, multicultural environmentWhat would stand you apart:Experience using CRM and sales intelligence platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Apollo, or similar tools)Knowledge of additional languages at professional working proficiencyExperience in Sales, Business Development, or Strategic Account ManagementExposure to the Travel & Tourism industry (airlines, hospitality, cruise, travel tech, agencies, etc.)Familiarity with digital ecosystems, CMS platforms, eCommerce environments, or AI-enabled solutionsWhat we value:We are looking for professionals who:Demonstrate initiative and strategic thinkingNavigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments with confidenceCombine commercial drive with consultative problem-solvingThrive in international, cross-functional teamsFocus on delivering measurable business impactTransPerfect provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local law.
