Compressor Development Engineer Verona, VA

Client: HVAC manufacturer

Requirements:

Experience in compressor design & development
Strong knowledge of thermodynamics & refrigeration systems
Experience with CAE/CFD and structural analysis
Centrifugal compressor design experience preferred
Knowledge of gear, bearing, housing, rotor dynamics, stress, vibration, modal & fatigue analysis
Experience with testing, validation & reliability engineering
Strong DFMEA/PFMEA experience
Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, material selection & manufacturing
Experience with prototype development, qualification testing, and product launch
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills
