Avionics Technician

Overview Trillium Professional is now seeking an Avionics Technician in Bradenton, FL for a direct-hire placement! Salary Range $90k-110k but commensurate to fielded experience. This is an onsite position. Will be doing repairs. Possible travel to clients, but primarily onsite in Bradenton, FL. Apply now! Qualifications Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and system block diagrams Diagnosing issues using onboard equipment diagnostics Signal Analysis using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and multi-meters Understanding frequency and time domain signals, impedance matching, etc. Knowledge of avionics standards Knowledge of interfacing protocols e.g. RS232, RS422, CAN, Ethernet, and MIL-1553 Electrical troubleshooting Power distribution systems, short/open circuits, etc. Software and firmware debugging wrt installed equipment Must be able to make cables, solder, and read schematics. Experience with helicopters and integrations desired but not required. A&P nice to have but not required. Avionics tech with at least 6 years’ experience with active military involvement a bonus.
