POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, DORKENWALD/FIETE LABS, McGovern Institute, (one opening) to conduct interdisiplinary research on the relationship between neural circuit structure and function. This role involves developing computational models, connectome analyses, and theoretical approaches using published and ongoing neuroscience datasets. The associates will collaborate with neuroscientists and computer scientists to advance understanding of neural coding and circuit dynamics while contributing to publications, presentations, and mentorship within a highly collaborative research environment. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: A PhD in neuroscience, computer science, or a related field; experience with using and building machine learning models, developing and validating computational analysis workflows, and developing circuit models is preferred; excellent communication and teamwork skills; attention to detail; excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, documentation, communication, and time-management skills; self-motivation and ability to work independently; and ability to work as part of a tightly-knit team.
