Locums Gastroenterology Petoskey, MI (MI license; IMLC if 60+ days out) Why This Role

• No weekday night call - weekend 24hr call only
• Start ASAP with open near-term dates
• All services onsite: 2 physicians, 2 APPs, onsite lab and X-ray
• Hospital-based clinic setting
Assignment Details
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-4:30p + 24hr weekend call (no weekday night call)
• Current open dates (more expected):
- 5/14/2026 - 6/1/2026 (daily 7a-5p, no night call) - 6/11/2026 (daily 7a-5p, no night call)
• Volume: 18 outpatient + 20 inpatient scopes/day
• Scope: endoscopy coverage plus consults within 7a-4:30p
• Setting: Hospital-based, outpatient + inpatient
• EMR: Cerner
Clinical Details
• General GI: endoscopy and consult coverage
Requirements
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology (truly board-eligible providers will be reviewed)
• Completed fellowship with 2-3+ years of experience
• Active MI license + CSR at time of submission (IMLC accepted when dates are 60+ days out, with LOQ)
• ACLS
• DEA (verbal confirmation of name clear)
• Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
• Clean background, no actions (minimum malpractice acceptable)
• Local candidates / driving in
Compensation
• Rates to submit, open to number:
- Hourly rate (per hour worked, 7a-5p) - 24hr weekend call rate (4 hours gratis)
• Malpractice provided
• Travel reimbursed
