Senior Maintenance Technician A – 2nd Shift Pay: $38.00 – $43.00 / hour

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced, proactive Maintenance Technician A to lead and support our 2nd Shift Production Team. In this critical role, your main objective is to keep production running with zero downtime by performing expert diagnostics, rapid breakdown repairs, and routine preventive maintenance across automated food manufacturing lines, packaging equipment, and plant utility infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Repair, replace or service food manufacturing equipment, parts, systems (kettles, cookers, mixers,

cutters, dicers, baggers, sealers, belts, coolers, freezers, ventilation, heating, cooling, lighting)

including building grounds/facilities

Set up, operate and adjust machine and controls following operational specs and safety guidelines

Prepare, process, dispatch, and complete maintenance work orders

Maintain work order system updated

Identify troubleshoot repair and report expected and unexpected breakdowns

Upkeep preventive maintenance schedule

Daily pass-downs and WIP

Follow diagrams, flow charts, sketches, maps, instruction booklets, service manuals

Use tools of the trade including lathes, presses, milling, welding, hydraulic and pneumatic

Familiar with testing, troubleshooting and measuring equipment and methods

Use of ladders, lifts, electric pallet jacks

Professional customer service approach

Adhere to GMP's and Sanitation SOP's while performing maintenance tasks

Perform daily and all duties assigned with high degree of safety awareness
