Nayar Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable Full-Time Hospice On-Call RN to join our growing team. This position offers a highly desirable seven-days-on, seven-days-off schedule , allowing you to enjoy a full week off every other week while making a meaningful difference for hospice patients and their families.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to after-hours calls from hospice patients, families, caregivers, and facilities
• Provide skilled nursing visits for symptom management, changes in condition, and urgent patient needs
• Assess patients and communicate updates to physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Educate and support patients and families regarding medications, comfort measures, and end-of-life care
• Complete death visits and provide compassionate support to families
• Coordinate medications, medical equipment, and other patient needs as appropriate
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in patient admissions or evaluations when needed
• Ensure continuity of care throughout the on-call period

What We’re Looking For

• Active RN license in the applicable state
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience
• Hospice, home health, emergency department, critical care, or on-call experience preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and symptom-management skills
• Ability to remain calm and provide compassionate care during urgent or sensitive situations
• Comfortable working independently during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Seven consecutive days on, followed by seven consecutive days off
• Includes evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday coverage during the scheduled on-call week
• Exact on-call hours and service territory will be reviewed during the interview
