Other duties may be assigned.Minimize monetary loss of defective merchandise including apparel, shoes, accessories and beautyIdentify the most effective defect recovery process for each item – RA, Restore, Sellable Defect, OtherIdentify defects by inspecting defective merchandise of apparel and non-apparel itemsClearly communicate with vendors regarding defective and unacceptable merchandiseAggressively negotiate credit or replacement merchandise for defects with vendorsEstablish and maintain rapport with vendors through positive and consistent communicationsAssist in other areas in department as neededRequired Competencies:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:High level of attention to detail and the ability to identify apparel and non–apparel flawsHands-on approach at restoring merchandise quickly and efficientlyApparel construction and fabrication knowledgeStrong communications, prioritizing, and organizational skillsAbility to take ownership of assigned tasks and meet responsibilities without supervisionAbility to work successfully with any personality type and be a team playerSense of urgency and ability to maintain performance quality under pressureMinimum Qualifications:Experience working in a QA/QC, Production or Warehouse environment requiredComputer literate in Excel, Word and Email requiredProficient in EnglishTechnical fashion, garment construction or fabrication knowledge preferredPhysically capable to stand and walk for entirety of shiftWork Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.ATTENTION:After submitting your application, please check your spam folder for emails on your application status.
