Certified Nursing Assistant Long Term Care

Full Time CNA (7.5 hours/day x 5 days/week - 37.5 hours) - evening shifts + every other weekend/holiday required.

Minimum 1-year experience as a licensed CNA in a long-term care setting is required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• BLS certification must be through AHA or RQI.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living needs per care plan.
• Maintain resident safety and environment, including responding to call lights and preventing falls.
• Support residents with meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Assist with mobility and rehabilitation needs, such as transfers and proper positioning.
• Take and record vital signs, including temperature and blood pressure.
• Help with resident social and emotional needs through interaction and companionship.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
