Summary

Assist in setting up screens for printing press machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Follow schedule and prep jobs on the computer to shoot on the dts machine. This is loading and moving to a file. And shooting on to screens
• Coat screens
• Reclaim screens as well as prepping frames.
• Tape in screens
• Fill out appropriate information on job tickets
• Examines proof after shooting to determine if any errors that can be caught after production.
• Ability to prioritize jobs by order on schedule and presses.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively in groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems when they arise.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Pace Manufacturing software.
