Therapist (LMSW)

Responsibilities Therapist (Licensed) – Behavioral unit at Texas NeuroRehab Center, a specialized treatment facility located in Austin, Texas. Provide social work services to patients and families participating in Neuropsychiatric, Neurobehavioral and Residential Treatment Center Programs. Maintain communication systems for documentation and verbal exchange regarding treatment. Coordinate with internal and external entities for treatment authorization and resources. Complete treatment plans within regulatory and licensing guidelines. Education: Master’s Degree Licensure/Certification: LMSW Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; experience with patients across age groups and disabilities preferred. Physical requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift and assist patients; maintain prolonged use of telephone; serve in crisis de-escalation; sustain activity up to 8 hours; comply with restraint policies.
