Previous travel experience required. AK CNA license can be pending, but candidate must have already submitted the Alaska CNA license application in order to apply. If they have not already submitted application please redirect. Candidate must provide documentation of license application that includes application submittal, application fee paid, FPs submitted, educational verification submitted, license verification submitted. If their AK CNA license is pending they must also submit the following with their application:

• Valid CNA license in another state
• Verification of completion of a formal CNA training program (must be able to provide certificate, transcript, etc.)

Start Date: ASAP Shift: 4x12 Variable (or 3x12 Variable - traveler's choice) - Note that caregivers are not asked to rotate between night/day shifts (occasional exceptions for urgent staffing needs). Shifts will be either Days or Nights, but dependent on facility needs at time of start date. Duration: Traveler's Choice for 26 or 13 week assignment Ratios: 1:20 Years of Experience: 1 First Timers Accepted: No Certs REQ: BLS Skills REQ: LTC Experience Is on-call REQ: No Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs?: Yes Open to accommodating a block schedule?: No Locals Accepted: No - Candidates perm address must be at least 50 miles from facility Pending License Accepted: Yes - but must have already submitted application RTO Restrictions: No more than 2 weeks of RTO will be considered for a 26 Week Contract, Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major Winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). Preference is for traveler's to be willing/able to work any holidays. All RTO must be sent with submittal. RTO will not be considered if requested after an offer or after signing contract. Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks

FACILITY INFORMATION Type of Facility: Long Term Care Facility Magnet/Teaching/Level Trauma: n/a Total Staffed Beds: 40 Scrub Color: Any Charting: ECS Parking Cost: Parking is free VEHICLE INFORMATION Facility will arrange for a vehicle for traveler to use while on assignment. The vehicle will either be a facility owned vehicle that will be rented to traveler or a vehicle through a rental car company. Vehicle will be available for use no earlier than 72 hours before contract begins and not longer than 24 hours after contract ends. Only the traveler is authorized to be the operator of the vehicle. Traveler must provide copy of valid driver's license and proof of insurance prior to operating vehicle. Traveler's personal vehicle insurance policy must have rental car insurance to cover any accidents/damages to a rental car. Vehicles for traveler use are provided solely for use "around town" and should not be taken off-road or outside of 30-mile radius from facility. If traveler has time off during their contract they must turn in the vehicle during time off and they will be issued a new vehicle when they return. If you would like tire chains for vehicle this is will be an additional cost billed to traveler. Vehicle must be cleaned before return and with a full tank of gas.
