Member Experience Specialist

Our credit union partner is seeking a full-time Member Experience Specialist to deliver exceptional member service while building strong member relationships and supporting lending growth. This position is the key point of contact for members and identifies members’ needs and connects them with appropriate financial resources. Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday; 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM Friday; 7:45 AM – 5:45 PM Availability to work two Saturday mornings per month. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional member experience and build strong member relationships. Open and service existing member accounts. Identify members’ needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Interview, process, close, and disburse consumer loans in accordance with policies and procedures. Perform outbound follow-up calls and other member outreach activities. Assist with transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments as needed. Collaborate with lending and leadership teams to support loan growth. Maintain compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and internal policies, including BSA, AML, OFAC, and NMLS. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in banking or credit union operations or a similar customer service environment preferred. Knowledge of consumer lending, member service, and teller functions. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to effectively promote products and services through consultative conversations. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Computer and Microsoft Office skills. Qualifies as MLO and complies with NMLS registration requirements. *Credit and criminal background verification required on all applicants.
