Security Officer Reception Specialist

Position Details Title: Security Officer Reception Specialist Location: Wilmington, DE Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Schedule: Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control practices, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor the front desk area and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying visitors, reviewing credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures according to property guidelines. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate. Answer phones, provide directions and general assistance, and support a professional lobby presence within a residential location. Complete required logs, reports, and other assigned documentation related to security‑related activities, visitor management, and shift events. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
