About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year License: Valid state or compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CNOR*, PALS* Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Meditech charting system experience - Experience in a community hospital setting preferred - Travel experience required Description: This position requires a registered nurse in the operating room. The shift is from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Weekends are not required, but on-call duties will be discussed during the interview. No floating is required. The RN will provide care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures. The nurse will circulate during surgeries and assist the surgical team. Skills in a range of surgical procedures, including but not limited to appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and total joint replacement, are necessary. Expertise with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System is preferred. The RN will monitor patient conditions and manage care effectively. Interdisciplinary support is available as needed. A strong emphasis on infection control and patient safety protocols is essential. Compliance with all required certifications is mandatory. Travel nursing experience is preferred. This role involves providing care across all patient age groups, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. A commitment to uphold the universal protocol and safety standards in the operating room is critical.
