Position Summary Carpenter supports the fabrication and assembly of wood‑based components and structures for staging and production projects, ensuring builds are completed safely, accurately, and in alignment with quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform basic carpentry tasks including measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling wood components Cut, trim, and shape plastic and non‑ferrous materials using appropriate tools and equipment in accordance with specifications and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and shop drawings Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively Assist with preparation and organization of materials including lumber, hardware, and custom pieces Support fabrication and build processes to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality expectations Inspect materials and components for accuracy and quality Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform general shop duties including material handling and equipment upkeep Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Must be at least 18 years of age 2+ years of carpentry experience required Working knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, measurements) Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills Positive work attitude and strong work ethic Effective communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
