Manufacturing Scientist II

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a Manufacturing Scientist II to support reagent production operations, investigate assay failures, and drive manufacturing improvements. The role involves technical expertise in immunoassay processes, cross-functional problem-solving, and documentation management within a regulated diagnostics environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in immunoassay manufacturing areas and support daily production needs
- Investigate and resolve assay failures during in-process, pre-fill, and post-fill reagent testing
- Lead cross-departmental teams to address non-conforming issues and implement process improvements
- Maintain bills of materials, material specifications, and standard operating procedures per quality standards
- Generate investigation reports and communicate findings through oral and written documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or related field with 2+ years industry experience, or Master's degree
- Technical understanding of biochemical and immunoassay processes with data analysis skills
- Experience in regulated industries such as FDA or ISO environments preferred
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Windows operating system
- Experience in biological or pharmaceutical manufacturing is a plus
Compensation: $75,000-$90,000 base, eligible for bonus/incentive pay
