Faculty Physician – Pediatric Radiologist (Academic/Clinician Track) Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota Organization: University of Minnesota Physicians – Department of Radiology About the Position The Department of Radiology seeks one full‑time ABR board‑certified or board‑eligible radiologist with a primary interest in pediatric radiology. The role is faculty‑level and includes academic rank, compensation, and appointment type based on qualifications and experience. Candidates must demonstrate teaching ability and scholarly productivity in radiology specialty areas. Minimum Requirements MD or equivalent degree. Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota. Board certified or board eligible in radiology. Completion of an ACGME‑accredited radiology residency. Completion of a pediatric radiology fellowship is highly preferred. Responsibilities

• Lead and interpret imaging studies for pediatric inpatients and outpatients across all modalities.
• Perform fluoroscopic procedures.
• Develop a specialty interest (e.g., fetal MRI, cardiac imaging, MSK, oncology imaging).
• Participate in post‑graduate and medical school instruction, teaching residents and medical students.
• Contribute to the department’s academic environment and specialty organization membership.
• Manage call coverage equally shared among five full‑time pediatric radiology faculty, including home‑based evening and weekend call and post‑hours remote diagnostic coverage.

Benefits All faculty are provided home workstations for remote work within Minnesota. Evening and weekend call are taken from home. 2026 J‑1 waivers are available for eligible candidates. Dually employed by M Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Clinical salary: $396,000 – $476,000 (cFTE‑based). University salary dependent on academic effort.
