Licensed Dental Assistant

Tailwind Pediatric Dentistry-Wayzata & Richfield We are looking to hire a Licensed Dental Assistant who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in the Pediatric Dental field. This position would be based out of both of our locations in Wayzata and Richfield. Who We Are Looking For: Someone with an active Minnesota Dental Assistant License A great communicator that wants to make a difference in our patients care. Someone who thrives in a busy environment and is a team player. Eagerness to learn and provide extraordinary care to our patients. Responsibilities: Present the patient to the doctor. Clean the patient's teeth. Fluoride application Take, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic). Provide hygiene and diet education. Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in office or hospital. Schedule follow-up exams. Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately. Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms. Parents consults-discuss treatment plans. Clean and sterilize instruments. Lab work. Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area. Help decorate office for birthdays and holidays. Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines.
