Inventory Specialist

- # Inventory SpecialistApply: Hanover, MD: Full time: Posted Today: R20262479**The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following:*** Ordering, receiving, and stocking inventory at medical centers with minimal disruption to patients and staff;* Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships and open lines of communication with all administrative and center staff;* Communicating with center and Materials Management Department staff regarding backorders and order discrepancies;* Maintaining the center inventory database;* Ensuring inventory and supplies are adequate for center operations;* Traveling to multiple centers as directed;* Operating, using, and maintaining medical and office equipment as trained. **Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:*** Employee must be 18 years of age or older;* High school graduate or equivalent;* Knowledge of medical supplies a plus;* Experience in purchasing, inventory, or related business environment preferred;* Strong organizational skills;* Strong computer and analytical skills;* Ability to prioritize and multitask;* Ability to lift moderate to heavy items (25 to 50 pounds);* Ability to unpack, move, and lift boxes required;* Ability to travel and provide own transportation.
