Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Clinic ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Plymouth, Minnesota.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 28, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift, weekends-only position requiring charge nurse capability and MN licensure.Details\n \n Emergency Department/Urgent Care setting treating both adult and pediatric patients\n Combined General Emergency Department with 17 total staffed beds\n Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), weekends only\n Patient ratio of 1:4\n No on-call requirements\n No floating required outside the hospital, though floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital may occur\n Charting performed in Epic\n Requirements\n \n Active MN RN license required\n Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC\n Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required\n Strong ED experience with charge nurse capability required\n Conscious sedation and triage experience required\n Epic charting experience preferred\n Documents required for consideration: date of birth, SSN, copy of certifications, Nursys verification, and RTO\n Minimum of 1 supervisor reference required\n Additional Information\n \n Provide emergency and urgent care nursing to a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, psychiatric, pediatric, and neurological cases\n Skills should include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, 12-lead EKG interpretation, and IV therapy\n Navy blue scrub color required\n Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered\n No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment\n Candidates must be gone at least 3 months from any prior staff or per diem role before returning as a traveler\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n Fingerprinting is required as part of Minnesota state compliance and must be completed promptly, as start dates depend on receiving results\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-753392.
