Electrical testing technician

As a detail-oriented Test Technician in Aurora, you will play a lead role in testing new products and standard production units. You will operate various test instruments, implement test procedures and software, and work with limited supervision to ensure our power distribution solutions meet the highest standards of reliability.

Education:

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, or Equivalent Military Electrical Training, or Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience performing electrical testing using voltage/current measurement equipment in the power systems industry.

Responsibilities

Key Duties:

• Testing and Inspection: Conduct pre-power up inspections, functional testing (up to 600VAC), and burn-in/stress testing to verify performance.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Assist in troubleshooting AC/DC circuits and performing minor repairs on control and power assemblies.
• Device Setup: Assist with programming electronic devices using computer-based tools.
• Documentation: Complete accurate test reports and maintain thorough documentation of all procedures.
