Step into an impactful role as a Special Education Teacher working with middle school students in an ASD Level III program. This full-time contract position spans 40 hours per week, with an immediate start and extending through November. Experience teaching within an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) program is highly valued, and you’ll play a key part in supporting student growth at a pivotal stage.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License required.
• Demonstrated experience working with students on the autism spectrum (ASD), with Level III program experience preferred.
• Knowledge of individualized education plan (IEP) development and case management.
• Familiarity with evidence-based strategies for supporting diverse learners.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Flexible, adaptive, and passionate about fostering inclusive learning.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of students in a middle school ASD Level III program.
• Manage student caseloads, overseeing all aspects of IEP development, implementation, and compliance.
• Create and adapt meaningful learning activities that build on each student’s unique strengths and needs.
• Collaborate closely with building staff, related service providers, and families to create a cohesive support system.
• Track and report on student progress, adjusting interventions and strategies as needed.
