Schedule PRN, Weekends Facility HSHS Rehabilitation Hospital – a brand-new 40‑bed inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) opening its doors in 2026. How You’ll Contribute A successful candidate will drive patient admissions by building and maintaining strong relationships with referral sources, including physicians and healthcare facilities. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, identifying new referral opportunities, and effectively communicating the hospital’s clinical strengths in treating medically complex patients. The candidate will spend the majority of their time in the field conducting presentations, evaluating potential patients, and fostering long‑term partnerships to support consistent referral growth aligned with clinical outcomes. Assist and coordinate in‑take and pre‑admission screening process. Perform on‑site clinical judgment to determine appropriateness of patient for admission. Communicate rehabilitation and facility options to patients and families; explain expectations and participation requirements to those appropriate for admission. Secure information regarding patients’ resources and benefits. Demonstrate knowledge of growth, development, and the aging process for planning and delivery of age‑appropriate care. Serve as initial contact for external case management and discharge planner personnel with payors and hospital facilities. Complete face‑to‑face, in‑service education contacts with physicians, case managers, and other professionals. What We’re Looking For Clinical licensure required (RN, PT, SLP, OT). Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous marketing/sales experience preferred. Previous clinical experience with demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and EMR systems. Formal sales training preferred. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
